Telegram

The Telegram element sends plain-text Telegram messages to users who started your bot and entered a customer journey.

Configure the Telegram element

1. Add the Telegram element to the journey canvas.
2. In Message text, enter the message body.
3. Keep the message text-only and within 4096 characters.

You can personalize Telegram messages with tags and Liquid placeholders. Learn more

Use vouchers

To include voucher codes:

1. Turn on Use vouchers.
2. Select Voucher pool.
3. Optional. Set Assign tag.
4. Add {{voucher}} to Message text where the code should appear.

Once you configure the element, click Apply.

Reachability and statistics

If sending fails because of a temporary network issue, Pushwoosh retries automatically.

If Telegram returns bot blocked or chat not found, Pushwoosh marks the user as unreachable for Telegram:

• bot blocked appears in Statistics as Skipped who blocked the bot.
• chat not found appears in Statistics as Skipped for those whose chat was not found.
