To let AI Assistant act in your account, grant consent first. Without consent, it can still answer questions and search documentation, but it can’t read your account data or make changes.

  1. Log in to your Pushwoosh account.

  2. Click the AI Assistant button.

AI Assistant button in Pushwoosh Control Panel

  3. At the top of the chat window, click the gear icon.

  4. Select Data processing from the menu.

Gear icon settings button at the top of the chat window with the Data processing menu item open

  5. In the Data processing consent window, select Full Automation.

  6. Click Apply.

To stop AI Assistant in the middle of a response, click Stop generation.

Continue an unfinished request
Anchor link to

AI Assistant can take only a limited number of steps (tool calls and replies) per request, so a large request can stop halfway. When this happens, a banner with a Continue button appears. Click Continue to let AI Assistant finish the request from where it stopped. Until you click Continue or send another message, the request stays unfinished.

Free up space in a long conversation

The chat input shows how full the conversation is. When it’s almost full, click Compact context in the chat input. AI Assistant summarizes the conversation to make room for new messages.

Approve actions before they run

Anchor link to

AI Assistant asks for your approval before it sends messages or changes your account. It shows a Decision card in the chat, and nothing changes until you approve it.

Actions that need approval
Anchor link to
  • Sending messages
  • Updating or deleting objects
  • Changing configuration, billing, or access
Actions that run without approval
Anchor link to
  • Creating most new objects: segments, journeys, tags, geozones, campaigns, voucher pools, test devices, and more. A segment or journey created this way starts as a draft and doesn’t affect users until you launch it. Other creates, like a tag or a geozone, take effect right away, since they add something new rather than change or remove existing data.
  • A few creates still need approval because of their reach: email template edits, API tokens, account invites, popups, rich media, frequency-capping changes, and third-party integrations.
  • Any action in the one-time onboarding chat.
Approve or reject an action
Anchor link to
  1. Read the Decision card that appears in the chat. It shows the action, why AI Assistant wants to make it, and a warning if the action can’t be reversed. For sending a message or starting a journey, it also shows how many users it reaches, once that’s known. Once you approve, the action runs right away, with no second confirmation.

  2. Click Approve to run the action, or Reject to cancel it. Either way, AI Assistant reports the result in the same message.

An unanswered card expires after 24 hours, or as soon as you send a new message in the same conversation. The expiry time is shown on the card.

See all pending cards

Anchor link to

The Decisions panel lists pending cards from all conversations in the current project. To open it:

  1. Click the gear icon at the top of the chat.

  2. Select Show proposal cards.

Gear menu showing Data processing and Show proposal cards options

If nothing is pending, the panel shows “Nothing is waiting for a decision”. To approve or reject a card from the panel, click Open in chat on it and decide in the chat.

Check what AI Assistant did

Anchor link to

The conversation is the only record of what AI Assistant did. There’s no separate activity log. For each request, the conversation shows:

  • Action counts, such as Created · 3 actions or Failed · 1 action
  • A Reasoning section

Before you rely on a result, make sure it’s what you asked for. If it isn’t, ask AI Assistant to adjust it and add the details your first request left out.

Deleting a conversation removes this record for good, so keep conversations with important changes.

Reverse a change

Anchor link to

To reverse something AI Assistant did, ask it to make the opposite change. For example, ask it to pause a journey it resumed or delete a segment it created. You can also make the change yourself in the Control Panel.

Attach files

To add files to your request, click + in the chat input, or drag the files onto the chat input.

  • Formats: .p12, .pem, .p8, .cer, .json, .txt, .pdf, and .csv.
  • Size: up to 10 MB per file.
  • Number of files: you can attach several files at once.

Ask by voice

Anchor link to

Ask a quick question by voice instead of typing, for example, how a campaign performed or why a journey stalled.

  1. Click the phone icon at the top of the chat window to start a voice call.

  2. Ask your question.

  3. Click the phone icon again to end the call.

What the call keeps depends on where you start it:

  • In an open conversation: the call continues it with the same context, and you can switch back to typing at any point.
  • Before you open a conversation: the call starts without context and doesn’t save a transcript.
