Web popup content

Web popup content is the visual layout visitors see when a Web popup appears on your website. Build it under Content, then attach it to a Web popup campaign.

Create Web popup content

  1. Go to ContentWeb popup content.
  2. Click Create web popup content. The editor opens in a new view.

  1. Name the content.

    The name is used inside Pushwoosh to identify this content in the list and campaign wizard. Website visitors do not see it.

  2. Choose how to start:

    • Click one of Starter prompts to load an editable draft layout. Then adjust blocks as needed. See Edit blocks.
    • Click Start from a blank template to open an empty canvas and build from scratch by adding blocks one by one. You can edit blocks manually or with prompts.

Hover between blocks until the + control appears, open the menu, and choose the block type you need.

Click the block you want to change. A toolbar appears above it with two options.

Click the settings icon in the block toolbar. The settings panel opens for the selected block, where you can adjust the layout, image, alt text, image fit, spacing, background, borders, and other block styles.

Click the text to edit it inline. Use the toolbar to choose the heading level, apply bold, italic, or underline formatting, add or remove links, insert merge tags, or delete the block.

To personalize text, click Merge Tags in the toolbar and choose a tag. The tag is replaced with the visitor’s attribute value when the Web popup is shown, so you can display content such as a first name or loyalty status. Learn more about tag-based personalization in Dynamic content.

Click the button to open its toolbar. Use the link icon to open Insert/Edit Link, set Action Type to Open Website, and enter the target URL.

You can select an image from Media Gallery. Double-click the image placeholder or the image you want to replace. Then select an image or click Upload to add a new one.

Edit with a prompt

Click the sparkles icon in the block toolbar. The prompt field shows what you are editing, for example Card. Enter the change you want to make and submit the prompt. For example, ask to make the card shorter or change the button text. Review the generated changes before you save.

Configure popup settings

In the right panel, open the Settings tab next to AI to adjust appearance and layout:

  • Popup: appearance and position on screen, including border radius, shadow, animation, overlay, and anchor point.
  • Content area: the content area inside the popup, including width, padding, background and text colors, and spacing between blocks.
  • Block defaults: shared styles applied to all content blocks, including background, border, and corner radius.
  • Columns, Card, Button group, Button defaults: layout and style defaults for each block type.

Review and save the content

Review the content layout, copy, images, and button links. When you are finished, click Save in the toolbar.

Use the content in a campaign

After you save, the content appears in ContentWeb popup content. Open it from the list to keep editing.

To show it on the site, go to CampaignsWeb popups, create or edit a campaign, and pick this content in the Content step. Then configure the audience, display settings, frequency, and launch options. For the full flow, see Create Web popup campaigns.
