Configure platforms

To enable Pushwoosh to send messages to your users, it’s essential to configure the platforms you plan to work with.

Developer assistance needed

You will need assistance from your development team to set up certain platforms, including mobile, web, or email configurations.

To start configuring a platform, go to the Configure Platforms section and click Configure next to the required platform:

Tip

Connect your bit.ly account to shorten links

Push payload size is limited, so the best practice is to shorten the links you use in your push notifications. Using your own bit.ly account assures all your messages are shortened and sent properly as you control the shortener limits yourself.

To connect your bit.ly account to Pushwoosh, click Edit application at the top right of the Configure platforms page and check the I want to add my bit.ly account checkbox.

Reach one of the most popular messaging audiences by connecting your LINE account to Pushwoosh. Once configured, you can send personalized LINE messages. Use Customer Journey or API to expand your communication strategy and boost engagement.

Kakao

Connect your KakaoTalk account to Pushwoosh to send messages to users in South Korea and other regions. Use approved templates in Customer Journey or via API.

SMS

To start using SMS to reach your users through Pushwoosh, you’ll need to contact the Pushwoosh team. SMS configuration isn’t available by default and requires activation. Once SMS is enabled for your account, you can easily integrate it into your omnichannel campaigns on the Pushwoosh platform.
