A/B Test feature helps you create and send different versions of a certain push to your userbase.
Go to your application and click Start A/B Test button in the Send Push form to perform an A/B test:
You can create up to 4 versions of the push notification, and specify the different content and necessary parameters for each of them in corresponding fields — just like separate send push forms gathered on your screen:
Please note that the messages for "A","B","C" or "D" groups might be completely different, so you can easily figure out which version is being opened more frequently. After creating each message type you can start sending it to your users. Different messages will be equally distributed among your subscribers, so e.g. if you have 100 subscribers and you send A/B/C/D push, 25 users will receive A-type of push, 25 another users will receive B-type and so on.
After an A/B test is sent, you can view statistics for each version of message in the Push History in Control Panel:
Compare the stats: a type with a higher open rate is definitely more attractive to your subscribers.
You can also view the advanced details of every particular push. Just click the Details button.
The test results are also represented as a bar chart like on the screenshot below.
