# Share Wallet passes

A user adds a pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet by opening its install link or scanning its QR code. Copy the link or show the QR code from **All passes**, then send it in the channels you already use.

## Get the install link or QR code

1. Go to **Campaigns → Wallet Passes**, open the **All passes** tab, and select **Apple Wallet** or **Google Wallet**.
2. Find the pass and open its actions menu (⋮).
3. Click **Copy install link**, or click **QR code** to show a code users can scan.

For all actions in this menu, see [Manage Wallet passes](/product/messaging-channels/wallet-passes/manage-passes/#view-and-manage-existing-passes).

## What the install link does

The install link is a regular URL:

* **Apple Wallet:** opening it on an iPhone adds the pass to Wallet.
* **Google Wallet:** it's an **Add to Google Wallet** link (`https://pay.google.com/gp/v/save/...`) that prompts the user to save the pass. **Who can save the pass**, a setting you choose when you create the pass, decides who the link is for. See [Who can save the pass](/product/content/wallet-passes/google-wallet-pass-builder/#who-can-save-the-pass).

## Share the pass with users via Pushwoosh channels

Use the link in the same Pushwoosh channels you already use to reach your audience:

* **Email:** add the link to a button or text link in the [email editor](/product/content/email-content/drag-and-drop-email-editor/), for example, an "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Wallet" call to action.
* **Push notifications:** set the link as the notification's [open action](/product/messaging-channels/push-notifications/send-push-notifications/one-time-push/#define-what-happens-when-the-push-is-clicked) so a tap opens the pass.
* **SMS:** include the link in [SMS content](/product/messaging-channels/sms/send-sms/send-sms-via-customer-journey/#configure-sms-content).

<Aside type="note" title="One Apple Wallet link works for one pass">
* Each Apple Wallet install link carries one pass's serial number and token, so one link fits one shared pass, such as a common coupon or event ticket.
* To give every recipient their own pass, generate a pass per user with the [PassKit API](/developer/api-reference/apple-wallet-passkit-api/) or issue it from a [Wallet Pass Campaign](/product/messaging-channels/wallet-passes/wallet-pass-campaigns/issue-passes/), and send each user their own link.
* Apple Wallet passes install on iPhone and Apple Watch only.
