# Message delivery settings

Message delivery settings decide how many messages each user receives and how fast Pushwoosh sends them. Cap the number of marketing messages per channel so overlapping campaigns don't overwhelm users, and limit the send rate so high-volume sends go out at a steady pace.

Both are set per channel in **Settings > Message delivery settings**, and you can override them for individual messages.

Limit how many marketing messages a user receives per channel within a set period, exclude specific users, and override the limit for individual messages.
